Kashrut (Kosher) Dietary Guildelines

The symbols above are found on on processed foods and baggies, plastic wrap and foil to let you know that these products have been checked by a Rabbinic source to be certain that no unkosher ingredients are used .

We follow a Biblical form of Kashrut (kosher) found in Leviticus 11 that states we are to have as food only meats such as beef, buffalo, deer, lamb, goat, fowl such as chicken or turkey and fish with scales and fins (no bottom dwellers like shrimp or lobster).

We do not cook our meats in dairy but we do not require strict separation as others do. We pre-cook the meat before adding to a specific dish.
All fruits and vegetables are Kosher as are most breads and chips.
